Jarvis Tyner
Jarvis Tyner (born 1941, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is the executive vice chair of the Communist Party USA. Tyner has been a delegate at each of the CP's conventions since he first became involved with the party in the 1960s. Tyner was the Communist Party's vice presidential candidate in 1976. He was the running mate to Gus Hall.
His brother, McCoy Tyner, is a noted jazz pianist.
